Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) represents trade and economic interests of the Taiwanese firms around the world. This nonprofit organization was established with the support of the Government of Taiwan in 1970 to promote Taiwanese products to the world market.

TAITRA has over 50 offices in different cities of the world, including in Moscow. The main activities of the World Trade Center in Taiwan are: -work on establishing direct partnerships, promoting cooperation and trade between Taiwan and foreign countries; -organization of trade missions, support for foreign companies importing products from Taiwan; - Promotion of international industrial exhibitions in Taiwan, the organization of visiting Taiwanese shows by Russia's businessmen; - Market survey and dissemination of information, consultancy and information services; -Assistance in recruiting foreign professionals to work for enterprises in Taiwan.
