A few words about our style

First and foremost we are a team.  Everything is a collective effort and it is very unlikely that you'll be left alone with your project for more than a few days.  Others will help you and, once you get a grip on some area of our activity, your help will be needed whenever this area touches somebody else's work.  Secondly, and still importantly, we are a UNIX shop.  Yes, we know that Bill has conquered the world twice over already, and that his Gates operating system (or was it Windows?) is the best.  Still, we keep our stand.  For you this means the need to survive without the daily doze of registry editing.  We'll be happy to convert you if you are interested.  Finally, your performance matters.  Because everybody interacts very closely, it becomes very clear very quickly (even to managers, who, as a matter of fact do their bit of coding as well) what your real abilities are.  We will make sure that they are exercised in full, and adjust the salary accordingly.
